Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Nela collects, why, and how it's used. It applies to all agents using the Service.

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: your email, name, agency, city, phone number, RERA ID, bio, and avatar — supplied by you or your organization's identity provider during sign-in.
• Listings & CRM data: property inventory, lead contact details and notes, and opportunities you create.
• Messages: content of chats between you and other agents on the platform.
• Usage data: basic activity needed to operate the Service, such as notifications and unread counts.

2. How we use your information

We use your data to operate core features: showing your listings and profile to other agents, matching opportunities, delivering messages and notifications, and letting you manage your own leads and inventory. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing with other agents

Your name, agency, and avatar are visible to other agents when you post to the feed, respond to an opportunity, or chat. Lead and inventory details you create are private to you unless you choose to share them (for example, by posting an opportunity or replying in a thread).

4. Third-party services

We use a third-party identity provider to authenticate sign-in and issue access tokens, cloud storage to host photos and files you upload, and a translation service to support the language toggle. These providers process only what's needed to perform their function.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your inventory, leads, opportunities, and notifications. Messages you sent may remain visible to the other participant in a conversation you were part of.

6. Your choices

You can review and update your profile at any time from Settings. You can delete your account from Profile → Danger zone, which permanently removes the data described above.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access-controlled storage. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to keep your login credentials confidential.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
